About unit:

Students research and create a television show in small production groups.
English - writing, reading, viewing, speaking all done through research, script creation, team work and presenting.
Drama - the drama techniques of voice are manipulated through using the puppet as the presenter.
Social Science - understanding how different people use and view different places; the importance of natural and manmade landmarks.
Visual Art - designing, selecting and using materials for a specific purpose.
This unit could be done without the puppet making and the students can become the presenters. If you wish to do this there are character creation rubrics on the rubrics page. You could also extend the work and assessing into digital technology. Documents designed for online use. All videos are suggestions only.
