Asking questions, having a conversation but without saying Yes or No. Develops face to face discussions, formulating questions and exploring different ways of answering.
The students can be divided into 2 or 4 groups.
Two groups face each other, while standing in single file. The first person in the line asks a question of the first person of the other group.
This person must answer the question without saying Yes or No.
In the beginning you may allow the students to answer using a question, as long as it is moving the conversation forward.
To help the students you can provide a topic they are to discuss.
