Sneak

Teams:

Individual, group

Equipment:

A set of keys or small object

This game has many names like, Grandma’s keys, What’s the time Mr Wolf, and Statues. Great for self-management skills.

One student is the “Protector”. They stand facing a wall with a small object or some keys they are protecting, sitting on the floor just behind them.

All other students stand at the opposite wall. When the “Protector” is facing the wall and says GO, the other students advance.

When the student turns around they must freeze. Anyone caught moving goes back to the start.

Students have three lives and then they are out.

The first student to sneak up and grab the object or keys is the winner.

OR

The class can be divided into groups. As a team they are to sneak up on the “Protector” to  take the object and return it to the beginning without being caught.

Once the object has been uplifted by the team the “Protector” has three guesses at who is holding the keys before the team gets it back to their starting point.

On the way towards the ”Protector” anyone caught moving goes back to the start and can go again. However, while moving away from the “Protector” if someone is caught moving they are called out.

NOTE

This game is very focused on control of movement. Try to discourage students from rushing in.
